Stinkin' Cute Grooming LLC - Grooming Policy & Terms (Effective 9/11/24)

To schedule grooming, all pets must have current Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. Proof must be provided via email or text to (210) 630-3347 before the appointment. Tags are not accepted.

Health and Safety:

• Pets must be healthy. Grooming elderly or infirm pets is done at the owner's risk. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions exposed during grooming.

• In emergencies, we may contact the nearest vet for treatment at the owner's expense.

• Anal gland expression is not offered and must be done by a licensed vet.

• Additional charges apply for matted coats or pets with fleas/ticks. Pets with illness, skin issues, or sprayed by a skunk must wait at least a month before scheduling.

Grooming Policies:

• "De-matting" or full coat removal may change a pet’s appearance and reveal pre-existing conditions. We avoid shaving double-coated breeds to preserve future fur growth.

• An $8 fee applies for flea baths or excessive shedding removal.

• Pets are kennel dried for no more than 15 minutes, except brachycephalic breeds.

Appointments and Payments:

• Cancellations or rescheduling require 48 hours’ notice. No-shows may incur a non-refundable charge after two incidents.

• Payment is due at the time of service, based on breed, weight, and grooming duration. Extra fees may apply for extended grooming sessions, coat condition, or size.

• Prices listed are base rates; additional charges may apply.

• No refunds offered on grooming services.

 Additional Services:

• Hair coloring is done with pet-safe dye; results may vary, and risks are acknowledged by the client.

• Photos of grooms may be shared on social media unless the client opts out.

Liability:

• Injuries caused by our staff will be covered upon receipt of a vet invoice. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or issues discovered after leaving the salon without prompt documentation.

Pickup and Late Fees:

Pets should be picked up promptly to help minimize their stress. Appointment times vary from 1-3 hours. A $10 fee will be charged for each hour past the designated pick-up time. If you need special accommodation, please let us know.

We strive to maintain a calm environment, so we kindly ask everyone to be considerate of noise levels. Please note that some pets are uncomfortable in kennels, and we DO NOT provide boarding services.

 

Please inform us if your pet is aggressive, kennel aggressive, has health issues, has been sick in the last two weeks, is new to grooming, or has had any grooming problems.
