Stinkin' Cute Grooming LLC - Grooming Policy & Terms

​Grooming Appointment Requirements:
All pets must have current Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. Proof must be submitted via email or text a screenshot to (210) 630-3347 prior to the appointment. Tags are not accepted as proof.

Health & Safety Guidelines:

Pet Health: Pets must be in good health. Grooming elderly or infirm pets is at the owner's risk. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions revealed during grooming.

Emergencies: In case of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. Ensure your phone is accessible. Do not list yourself as the emergency contact. If we cannot reach you, we will contact the nearest vet at your expense.

Anal Gland Expression: This service is not offered and must be performed by a licensed vet.

Additional Charges: Fees apply for pets with matted coats, fleas, or ticks. Pets with skin issues, illness, surgeries or skunk spray must wait one month before their next appointment.

Health Concerns: Do not book appointments if your pet has an upset stomach, runny nose, or open sores.

Grooming Policies:

De-matting & Shaving: De-matting or shaving may alter a pet’s appearance and could reveal hidden conditions. We avoid shaving double-coated breeds to protect future fur growth.

Flea Baths & Shedding: A $10 fee applies for flea baths or excessive shedding. Fees may increase depending on coat condition.

Drying Method: Pets are kennel dried for no more than 15 minutes. Flat-nosed breeds are hand-dried for safety.
Appointments & Payments:

Cancellations: Please provide 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. After two no-shows, a non-refundable fee may apply.

Payment: Payment is due at the time of service, based on breed, weight, and grooming time. Additional fees may apply for coat condition, extended sessions, or size.

Pricing: Base rates are provided, but extra charges may apply. Refunds are not available for grooming services.

Additional Services:

Hair Coloring: We use pet-safe dyes. Results and longevity vary, these can last several months.

Photos: Grooming photos may be shared on social media. Inform us if you prefer your pet’s photos not be shared, we do not post before and after pictures or include their names.

Liability:

Injuries: Injuries caused by our staff will be covered upon receipt of a vet invoice. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or issues discovered after leaving without prompt documentation.

Concerns: Report any concerns immediately. Waiting until the next appointment limits our ability to address issues effectively.

Pickup & Late Fees:

Prompt Pickup: Pets should be picked up promptly to reduce stress. Appointments typically last 1-3 hours.

Late Fees: A $10 fee applies for each hour past the designated pick-up time. If you need accommodations, let us know in advance.

Environment: We aim to maintain a calm environment. Please pick up your pet on time, especially if it’s their first visit or if they tend to bark excessively.

Please inform us if your pet:

Is aggressive or kennel aggressive

Has health issues or has been sick in the past two weeks

Is new to grooming or hasn’t been groomed in over two months

Has had past grooming challenges
